Reason For Update: Excel Document Templates, Email Template Images and More.
As always we have a further batch of updates to ensure we are continually providing you the best CRM to run your business.
Excel Files Can Now be Stored in Document Templates
We have now added the ability to store excel spreadsheets in document templates within a Lead and Contract so these can easily be downloaded and amended by users. This means any internal costsheets or timesheets etc can be stored within BP and pulled down to be completed by the user.
At this time we have not been able to integrate placeholders but this is a development we will be working on in the near future.
Email Templates – Insert Image
We have added the ability to insert an image into an email template. If you select the image icon, you’ll be able to select an existing image or upload a new one and insert this into the email template as an embeded image, not an attachment.
Email Attachments displayed in a List Format
In a further enhancement of our email integration, attachments added in emails from documents within BP will now be shown in a list format rather than previous tile icons display. This will enable you to view larger document/image lists with more ease.
Delivery Incomplete Reason – Added to PO Grid
The ‘Delivery Incomplete Reason’ field will now be included in the Purchase Order grid as a column option. It will be listed as ‘Delivery Shortfall Reason’ and when added as an additional column in the Purchase Order grid it will also appear in an export from that area.
The ‘Delivery Shortfall Reason’ will be listed when you export the grid to Excel but is NOT included in the PDF version due to the potential volume of text.
Placeholders for ‘Windows’, ‘Doors >= 50% Glass’, and ‘Doors < 50% Glass’ within a Contract
We have added some additional placeholders to the Guarantees area within a Contract. These can be found in the Admin area, under Email & Document Templates.

- Doors >= 50% Glass {Windows>=50%Glass}
- Doors < 50% Glass {Doors<50%Glass}
Coronation Bank Holiday Added
We have added King Charle’s Coronation Bank Holiday into the Schedule Board settings on the 8th of May.
FIT Show 2023
As you’ve probably heard, we’re heading to the FIT Show on the 23rd of May!
We launched at FIT Show 2019, and we’ve been swept along on a wave of positivity ever since.
This year will be no different! We’ve got new developments to demonstrate to existing users as well as new ones, such as a new function that allows managers of multi-site businesses and multi-company groups to have access to the operations of all sites, or just a specific one – depending on the permissions given.
