Supplier Products List Enhancements, VAT Code Default Setting, End Time Added to Diary Confirmations

Our development team are ploughing on with our Blink Payment integration and we hope to launch this feature very soon. Elsewhere in the system, we’re firing on with some more developments and updates to help make the system even better for your every day use! Here’s a rundown of the most recent updates:

Supplier Products List Enhancements

The Supplier Products List has proven to be an extremely popular feature with users, and we have now developed this further so that products and default costs can be added faster and more easily.

Head to Admin > Contracts & Products > Supplier Products List

When you choose ‘Add Supplier Product’, you will see that you now have the option to add multiple products in the same window, as shown below.

This is particularly useful if you have a new supplier and need to bulk upload many new products and corresponding default costs, or if an existing supplier has a price increase and all of your default costs need to be updated.

If you haven’t set up your Supplier Products List yet, now is the time to do it!

Managing VAT Codes

You now have the ability to set a default VAT Code for your system, so you don’t have to select the VAT Code every time you create an invoice.

Go to Admin > Finance > VAT Codes to see the Manage VAT Codes window. Here, you will see a new ‘Default’ column with tick-boxes.

All you need to do is check the box you wish to set as your default VAT code.

Remember, you can also select the display order that your VAT Codes show in the drop-down menu, so you can keep the ones that your team uses most frequently at the top. Simply drag and drop the rows up and down the grid to set your display order.

End Time Added to Diary Confirmations

Diary Appointment confirmation emails now feature an ‘end time’ as well as a start time for all appointments, to make managing your team diaries easier and to keep your sales team, surveyors, and service engineers more in the loop.

Lead Source Column Added to Contract Grids

To ensure more effective reporting on leads and the ROI of your marketing efforts, we have added a new ‘Lead Source’ column to our Contract Grids.

To see this column, click the three dots at the top of any column in the Contracts grid, go to columns, and check the ‘Lead Source’ box to show this on your view.

Remember, you can save your grid views so you can always find what you need – just hit the save icon at the top right of your grid and give the grid view a name. Then you can choose it from the drop-down menu whenever you visit the grid.
