Your insights are the engine behind the evolution of the Business Pilot platform. We are delighted to share a robust set of new features and enhancements, all directly shaped by the valuable feedback we receive from customers like you.
This update is focused on making your business life easier by introducing highly requested changes in reporting, invoicing, security, and more. Scroll down to explore the full list, or use the navigation links below to jump straight to the features that matter most to you.
Stock Valuation Report Update
We’ve improved our Stock Valuation Report, giving you crucial new visibility. Stock users can now select the install date to determine stock levels when running their audits.
Previously, the report only used the date stock that was allocated to a contract, but a new option has been added that determines levels based on the contract installation date.
This enhancement allows you to create more accurate point in time stock valuation. With the new report option the item will now be counted as being in stock until the install date when it would leave the warehouse.
Inactive Invoice Types
To ensure maintain a clear and efficient system ongoing, you can now mark any invoice types that are no longer needed or in use as inactive. As these types cannot be deleted, due to the need to keep the historical record intact, marking them as inactive ensures they will no longer appear as options for selection going forward. This update helps streamline your data entry process while guaranteeing the complete and accurate preservation of your historical records.
Extended Schedule Viewing In App
We have enhanced the visibility of the Schedule Jobs view on the BPsite app. You can now allow your sales, surveyors and engineers to view scheduled appointments up to four weeks ahead should you wish. A major increase from the previous seven-day limit.
This enhancement can provide greater long-term clarity, enabling better planning and preparation for your diary directly from your mobile device.
Password Visibility Toggle
To enhance security and user confidence, we have introduced a simple but effective update: you can now view the password you are typing in relevant fields. This new visibility toggle ensures you can easily confirm you have entered your credentials correctly every time.
Placeholders for Emails and Documents
In order to help you keep your external and internal communications as streamlined as possible we have introduced two new placeholders.
For planning and transparency, a new Estimated Fit Date Placeholder can be dynamically included in your emails and documents, automatically providing a reliable target installation date for customers and teams.
Additionally, you can now use the {Contact First Email} placeholder in email templates. This automatically pulls and displays the primary email address from the customer’s contact card, simplifying accurate sharing of customer details when corresponding with suppliers.
Beyond these new features, we continue our relentless pursuit of optimum platform performance. This update includes significant work under the hood, specifically optimizing and speeding up the updated Leads grids to ensure smoother, faster navigation.
As ever, we’ve also implemented various patches and bug fixes across the platform to ensure a stable, reliable experience for all Business Pilot users.
We encourage you to explore these new features, and if you require any help or further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
