Business Pilot goes through development each week and is being improved behind the scenes, we’ve got some great updates on the way to you.
Let’s see what we got up to this week…
This week we have released a number of exciting changes and additions to the system. Please note the following changes made:
As we begin looking into the Roles and Permissions within Business Pilot further we have made a couple of initial changes to the access full users are granted. First of all the ‘Finance’ tab within the Customers Contract page is now only accessible to those users that have the ‘Admin’ role assigned to their account. This does mean your operations team will no longer be able to assess job performance but gives tighter control to the business.
In addition, all export functions in the main Contact, Lead & Contract areas to PDF and Excel require the Admin access level so you can look after your information easier.
In order to assist with greater visibility in the Contracts (Operations) area of the business we have added a new Current Owner feature in the Contracts screen. This will enable you to select any Operations License user as the Owner of the Contract at any time. Therefore, as the Order progresses through the business you can see exactly who is responsible for it at every stage. This is also displayed in the Contracts grid area for easy reference and tracking.
Finally we have included a Discount Applied (%) field on the lead page below the Quoted Value fields in Leads so users can quickly see how much discount the customer has already received, helping you see if there’s room for improvement if required or if the customer is receiving the highest amount of discount.
