In addition to our single sign on development for Microsoft 365 users, there have been a few other updates that are now live on the Business Pilot system.
Delete Option for Unallocated Stock
We have now implemented a delete option for unallocated stock. This function will help you keep your stock area tidy and up-to-date and allow you to remove any unused stock items.
In the manage stock grid, you will now see a red ‘delete’ button next to each stock line.
To delete this stock, simply click the delete button.
Please note this function is only available where none of the stock items have been allocated to a contract.
If you wish to delete the stock item, you will see this message and you can confirm the deletion.
As before, you can still use the delete option to ‘write off’ existing stock where you have previously allocated items but wish to remove the remainder. As a failsafe, the system will pick this up and show the message below.
Service Call Appointments – ‘Provisional’ Added to Status Column
We have added the ‘Provisional’ status to the Service Calls grid to make it easier to see where provisional service call appointments haven’t been confirmed.
Now, when you book a provisional service call, it will show as ‘Provisional’ in the status column. Once the appointment has been confirmed, this will change to ‘Booked In’.
Provisional service call bookings show as a white card with coloured edges in the diary view, converting to a block colour when the appointment is confirmed – as shown here:
Schedule Board – Note Added When Jobs are Locked/Unlocked
A small but useful update – when jobs are locked or unlocked on the schedule board, a note will now be added to the contract, so you can see which user has locked / unlocked the job and when it was done.
Object Tags Alphabetised
In Contacts, Leads & Contracts, you will now see that the objects in your Tags list now appear in alphabetical order for ease of use.
Remember, you can update and add Object Tags in the Admin area, under Contract & Products.
