Updates

Reports, Financials and Additional Columns

Reason For Update:

We continually find ways to improve the system. This update includes an addition to our recently released Status Progression work, along with improvements and additional columns and a new field.

Status Progression

In addition to our Status improvements, we have included a copy pipeline option, helping you to create new pipelines based on the standard set-up or any other pipelines you may have already created.

This can be done in one of two ways, the first is to select the pipeline you wish to copy when adding a new pipeline.

Alternatively, you select to copy direct from the list of pipelines (as shown below).

Improved Fit Days Column

On the contract grids we have amended the fit days column to show both the number estimated and number booked. This is to help manage your installations and identify jobs that are still to be scheduled, have remaining days or have overrun and not been allocated sufficient days.

Financial Fitting & WIP Reports

The Financial Fitting Schedule Report had a small error subtracting the paid balance, we have fixed this and is back fully operational.

On the WIP Report, we have added an extra column containing the last fit date booked, this will help identify jobs that have been installed but not yet ‘Completed’ on the CRM.

Revenue Recognition Date

We have added a field inside of the contracts finance tab which allows a finance user to set the revenue recognition date which is used for determining whether a contract is considered completed from a financial accounting perspective. If this date is manually set (and the contract is not already completed) then instead of the contract appearing on the ‘Work in Progress (WIP) Report’ then it will appear on the ‘Completed Contract Report’. When a contract is completed (and a revenue recognition date is not already set), it will auto populate the revenue recognition date.

Email Addresses added to Customer Exports

On the Export – Customers csv file we have added an addition column to include the customers email address.

Business Pilot has a continual development cycle and all new features are included within your subscription. In fact, as a user, we encourage you to ask for more! That way, we all benefit from a continually improved system
