We are really pleased to be sponsoring the 2021 Glazing Summit not least because it is the first major face to face event for the industry since Lockdown 1!
It seems such a long time since we were first told to leave our offices and work from home. With the continued disruption ever since, and the inevitable move of the FIT Show to 2022, the Glazing Summit will be the first opportunity for industry leaders to get together and discuss some key challenges facing the sector.
Business Pilot has been at the centre of the industry for some time now and therefore it was only natural that we would sponsor the Glazing Summit and take part in the event.
So what can you look forward to at the 2021 Glazing Summit?
This year, we will be tackling the key subjects head on. After a ‘state of the industry’ report, the event will dive straight into a debate on ‘conquering the supply chain crisis’. Looking wider afield, the next session will attempt to look at creating a more sustainable future. Climate change is never too far away from the news and it has an impact on us all. A breif discussion into the ‘regulation minefield’ then paves the way for an economic outlook for the industry’.
After lunch, the pace will continue with a keynote on running a business in uncertain times. Something we are very much about supporting. See our WorkSmart series here. This leaves the question is it time to get out or scale up.
The event that runs from 08.30 to 16.30 at the Edgbaston stadium on the 21st October is set to be action packed if nothing else!
