Our latest ‘Elton chats to’ interview features Ken Rhodes, owner and director of Ken Rhodes Group Ltd, who took over the family company in 2016, when paper files and an old Microsoft Access database were being used to run the business.
In the chat, Ken talks about how he has digitalised the business, implemented Business Pilot and used it to drive targeted marketing campaigns, build sales and improve customer service.
“It’s not just a database, it’s a tool to run the whole business…”
As for favourite features, tasks, pipelines, purchase orders and BPmail are at the top of Ken’s list…
“It’s different for each department…for the sales department, it’s tasks and the pipeline…you can sort by pipeline. So, straight away on a Monday, you can say, right, these are the ones that have not been booked yet, ones are the ones that have been quoted. So you haven’t got to scroll through all that data. So I’d say that’s probably my favourite for the sales.”
