Since Business Pilot is all about the Business Pilot Community, we thought it would be good to share a little about the team behind Business Pilot. This month, its Matthew Gaskin (Matt).
Matt’s role at Business Pilot is to meet people that are interested in the system and walk/talk them through it. Obviously, he is always hoping it is a good match for their business needs, but the key is that he’s trying to make sure a good fit, where the installation company in question will get a lot of benefit from Business Pilot, like our existing users do. That’s how we have built such a strong community of users.
Matt Joined Business Pilot in June 2020. He had worked in the glazing industry for 15 years at a national brand. That is really important for us all at Business Pilot. After all, it is the system that has been built for installers, by installers. Matt had worked at many different levels from contact centre, business development and sales manager, so his experience really helps not only ourselves, but the rest of the community since he knows firsthand the benefits of a systemised approach to sales within installations.
My favourite Business Pilot feature has got to be the schedule board. We have not tried to over complicate the scheduling process but we have added some great features such as purchase order delivery status to the job card, which hugely benefits the users when scheduling an installation.
Says Matt.
Outside of Business Pilot, Matt likes spending time with his family and watching his children play grassroots football. He also coaches his sons Under 8’s football team.
He is typically the first person you would meet on your journey with Business Pilot, given his role in business development. That also makes him an ideal contributor to the ongoing development of the system because he gets to hear from lots of installers, the unique way they go about running their own installation company.
