To Do This:
- Within your Contact, Lead or Contract, head to the Activity tab and select ‘Tasks’.
- Select ‘+ Add Task’. Enter who the Task is for and when it’s due by. (Remember it won’t appear in your Dashboard until the date you’ve set).
- Select a Task Template if required. (This is optional) Or, enter the Task details in the ‘Details’ box.
- Select ‘Add’ when completed.
- If the user heads to their Dashboard and selects the area where the Task was set (Within a Contract).
- They’ll see the latest uncompleted task first (which are marked in red as they are past their due date). Select the edit icon on the Task and this will take you to the Contract.
- Head to the Activity tab and ‘Tasks’ bar to see the details.
- Select the edit button to update or make any changes to the Task.
- Or, select the green tick to mark the Task as complete. Select ‘Yes’ to confirm completion.
- If the user heads back to the Dashboard, the task will have disappeared.
