Reason for Update: Recording payments becomes automatic, Financial Exports to include Xero to offer more flexibility between Business Pilot and your Accounting Software and a couple additional fields in the Contract Excel Export to make the post-lockdown rush easier to manage with Business Pilot.
Supply Only / Supply and Fit Column
A new column can be found on the main Contract excel export, you can now see which jobs are supply and fit and supply only at a glance.
Install Address Reference on Exports
Install Address Reference field now pulls through in the same export as above.
Payment Allocation Record
The system will auto generate a note when a payment is added to an invoice to include the user, date and time. These notes will be saved to the Contract page in the same manner they are when the initial invoice is raised.
Xero Export
We have enhanced the Financial exporting feature of the CRM to include a template specifically for Xero Accounting Software. Xero has it’s own requirements for data and VAT codes so we have configured a CSV to suit. In line with this we have also tweaked our original CSV export which is configured to Sage.
Whilst the reports are tailored to these systems both exports can also be used to import to any accounting software package once the headers and columns are mapped correctly.
