This update enables you to save your preferred grid views for leads and contracts. It also allows you to see your preferred ‘default view’ when you first go to the grid views. This will save you a lot of time in setting up the specific columns you want and any sorting/filtering that you change regularly.
At the same time, we have released a Xero refresh button for those using Xero accounting, so that you can ‘force’ a refresh at any point. Great for ensuring payments are reconciled instantly!
Personalised Grid Views for Leads and Contracts
We have added the ability to save your favourite grid views within Leads and Contracts. You can set up multiple versions of how you would like your grids to show. Then, simply select the version you want from the dropdown.
This update will also remember the way you left the grid last time and load it the same way, next time you go back to the grid view. That is assuming you go back within 72 hours. If it is longer than that, you will simply be shown the Business Pilot ‘Default’ view. You can also get back to this default view by choosing it from the view dropdown.
To get started, first, set the grid up as you would like it. that means adding and removing columns as you want them. It also means setting up the ‘sort by’ or ‘filters’. Then, look over the the right hand side for the ‘save’ icon.
Once you click on the ‘save’ icon, you get the following screen and can give your view a name.
Now, your saved grid view is selectable from the drop down.
You can always delete saved grids by choosing the ‘pencil’ icon
Just choose ‘delete’
Xero Refresh Button
The newly added Xero refresh button does exactly what it says. You will see this above the payments section on the invoice details section. It allows you to force a refresh of the data between Xero and Business Pilot if you don’t see payments within Business Pilot, that you can either see, or believe to be in Xero. Note, this is a sync between your Xero accounting software and Business Pilot, so seeing a payment in your bank, doesn’t always mean the bank feed has sync’d with Xero.
Business Pilot has a continual development cycle and all new features are included within your subscription. In fact, as a user, we encourage you to ask for more! That way, we all benefit from a continually improved system.
