A small but very useful update for you here to kick off our 2025 development schedule.
We’ve implemented new functionality on system notification emails so that the right people in your company can be kept up-to-date on the information that is most relevant to them.
As well as the default System Notification email settings in the main Company Settings section in the Admin area, you can now also set email notifications for your different Lead / Contract Types.
So if, for example, you have a specific person or team who deals with eg. Conservatory or Service Contract Types, you can specify their email address to receive email notifications at each stage throughout the project.
To access the email notification settings, head to > Admin > Contracts & Products > Contract/Lead Types
In the Manage Contract Types window, click the edit pencil button, to edit the Contract Type and scroll down to the System Notifications section.
For each Contract Type, you can set System Notification emails for:
- Lead Marked As Sold
- Lead To Contract – a new notification email to alert you when a Sold Lead has been converted to a Contract
- Invoice Query
- Credit Invoice Raised
- Contract Value Changed
- PO Remake Warning
You can also set separate notifications for activity on the BPsite App:
- App Notification Email – Installation
- App Notification Email – Service
- App Notification Email – Sales
- App Notification Email – Survey
Add in the relevant email addresses for each notification and click the ‘save’ button.
To add multiple email addresses to a notification, separate them with a semi-colon – ;
Please note that when email addresses are set for each Lead/Contract Type, this does not override any default email addresses in the main System Settings. The notifications will go to all of the email addresses in both areas.
