Our integration with Zapier connects Business Pilot to more than 7,000 other Apps and software systems to help you automate more of your workload.
We have now expanded our offering on Zapier, opening a series of new Triggers and Actions for you to use with the Zapier platform.
This upgrade has only been made possible by creating a new version of the Business Pilot integration on Zapier v1.1.1. All new and existing Zapier Triggers have now been modified to use webhook technology. This means that they show as ‘Instant Triggers’ and automatically fire as and when the action is performed in the Business Pilot system.
This webhook technology can also be used for specific direct integrations with any other software tool that uses API, meaning that Business Pilot can be integrated with many other systems via our Open API. This could be SMS or WhatsApp messaging, VOIP systems, data and analytics software such as Microsoft Power BI or your supplier’s software system.
The upgrade does mean that we will begin to retire version 1.0.0 of Zapier and the polling based endpoints in the coming months – but we will keep you informed on this.
If you use Zapier, we recommend starting to migrate your existing Zaps to the new version as soon as possible.
New Zapier Integration Triggers & Actions
Our new Triggers & Actions are focused on recording quotes from external systems into Business Pilot, along with modifying purchase orders and lines.
The new Triggers are:
- New Service Call Added
- Service Call Updated
The new Search Actions are:
- Find a Service Call
- Find all Service Calls
- Find all Document Types
The new Create Actions are:
- Create Lead Quote
- Create Lead Document
- Create Purchase Order Line
- Update Purchase Order
