It’s a few weeks since we announced our new payment integration development, and we just wanted to keep you updated with our progress.
Our development team have been hard at work and will soon be moving into our robust testing stages, to ensure that you can get your online payments up and running as soon as this integration is live.
We’re really pleased to see customers already having consultations with Blink Payment specialists to get their plans set-up ahead of the launch. If you haven’t spoken to them yet, you can request your consultation call here.
If you missed the announcement in August, you can catch up here to see why we’ve chosen to partner with Blink Payment.
Here are some more details on how the feature will work.
Business Pilot Payment Integration Feature
Once you’re on board with Blink Payment and the API has been set-up between your Business Pilot system and the Blink Payment platform, you will have the option to include a payment link on the invoices you create within Business Pilot.
This will work by using our placeholder functionality which would create a unique payment link for each invoice.
This placeholder would then be used on your invoice document templates to include an online payment link, which could look something like this:
When your customer clicks the link to pay, they will be taken to a payment window like the one shown below, where they can pay by card or by bank transfer, depending on the service you have chosen from Blink Payment.
This payment page can be personalised with your own logo and business information via the Blink Payment platform.
Once payment has been made, there will be a function to send that information back into the Business Pilot system.
It will add the payment to the corresponding contract so that payments can be reconciled without you having to check and add them in manually.
Blink Payment will also integrate with Xero and Quickbooks for even more streamlined finance management. We are currently reviewing the final details of how this will work within the design of the API and will provide further information in due course.
Special Offers For BP users
As part of our new partnership with Blink Payment, they have some really great offers available for Business Pilot users who want to offer card and bank payments to customers. You can get:
- Preferential rates on all transactions
- An introductory offer where Blink Payment will cover all open banking charges for the initial term of your contract
- Free 30-minute consultations with their payment experts
Blink Payment already works with companies in the home improvement and retail installation sectors, so they have higher acceptance rates for double glazing businesses.
Just like Business Pilot, their platform is powered by people, not by robots, so you can talk to a Blink Payment specialist about what they can offer your business.
