Business Pilot shortlisted for G21 Awards

Business Pilot has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Promotional Campaign at the G21 Awards.

Held at the Hilton on London’s Park Lane, the gala dinner event, which will be held on November 26th, is a celebration of innovation and ingenuity in the window and door industry.

Business Pilot, the digital management tool designed by installers for installers, has been shortlisted in the Best Promotional Campaign for the Business Pilot Community.

The campaign, launched in 2020, is built around the sharing of experience and best practice in installation.

This includes tracking industry performance in real time through the Business Pilot Barometer from lead generation and conversions to the performance of different material types.

Business Pilot has also partnered with the Fit Show to deliver a series of training sessions, as well as hosting COVID-working online workshops and training days.

“We help our customers manage their businesses better by allowing them to track each aspect of their operations from lead generation to conversions, to operations, job scheduling and financial reporting”, explained Elton Boocock, Managing Director, Business Pilot.

“Collectively that gives us access to a lot of data about how the industry is performing, not only our individual customers but as an industry – and in real time – something that was of value to the industry in its entirety.

“Through Work Smart and our partnership with the Fit Show, we have been able to apply that insight to a series of video and written best practice guides aimed at helping installers to maximise margin and run their businesses more effectively.

“It’s all freely available because we believe that it adds value to the industry as a whole.”

Business Pilot was launched in 2019 as a cloud-based CRM and business management tool designed by installers for installers.

This includes Cherwell Windows Jim and Ryan Breslin and Thames Valley Windows’ Ryan Schofield. Everything that has been developed and released is built on the day-to-day realities of running a retail installation business.

The CRM mobilises the power of cloud-based technologies giving installers complete visibility of every element of their operation from leads and conversions to job scheduling, cost of installation, service calls, and financial reporting.

Elton said: “We believe that window and door retail is entering a period of rapid change, driven by digital innovation and redefined consumer expectations of service and customer experience.

“Retail businesses are harnessing the power of digital business management tools to run their operations more effectively and more profitably – and most importantly to deliver a better customer experience.

“We’re delighted to have made the shortlist at this year’s G-Awards.”
