FREE UPDATE: During a Covid-19 Installer webinar run by Business Pilot, it became clear that despite demand returning from customers, installers were still concerned about getting back into people’s homes for installations and not falling foul of the current Covid-19 guidelines.
Immediately after the webinar, We met to discuss the possibility of adding a Covid-19 Risk Assessment tool for installers to the Business Pilot system in order to help installers feel confident that they were following current guidelines in relation to Covid-19. The real benefit of such a tool though is to help staff and customers feel confident that all practicable precautions were being taken.
By providing a simple step by step checklist, the assessment tool not only works as a reminder, it takes any doubts away from the office and installation team. By keeping an audit, you also have the future peace of mind that your company took reasonable steps to ensure the safety of staff and customers during installations.
Within the main system, there are a selection of pre-installation checks, which if passed, allow the installer to go to site and they, too, carry out a few simple checks (within their Business Pilot App). All of the responses to the checks (Yes or No options) are then stored against the specific installation. You can re-do checks as often as you feel it necessary. The feature also alerts installers within their App if they are dealing with a customer within the category classed as vulnerable.
Installers are free to use (not compulsory) the usual features of their app to add further details such as images, video, notes etc. to further back up their activities towards carrying out a Covid-19 safe installation.
