Following the inaugural Glazing Innovation Roundtable, hosted by Business Pilot and VBH GB Ltd last year, the follow-up video and white paper are now available for the industry to access.
Elton Boocock, Managing Director at Business Pilot says: “The overwhelming conclusion that our roundtable discussion came to was that our industry needs to see more collaboration in order to drive innovation, so we’ve released the key findings in white paper format for anyone in the sector to access. There’s also a round-up video featuring interviews with all of our roundtable participants.”
The roundtable aimed to bring together spokespeople from across the supply chain, to talk about the impact and opportunity that digital innovation brings to the glass and glazing sector. The discussion focussed on how far the industry has come in recent years, as well as how far we still have to go.
Elton adds: “It’s no secret that, historically, the glazing industry hasn’t been known to always accept new technology with open arms, but what we really found in the discussion is that over the last few years, we have taken a turn.
“Now, companies are fully embracing digital practices in their businesses, transforming how they work, improving professionalism and customer experience and collaborating to develop incredible new products that consumers want and need.
“This was never planned to be a one-off discussion and we look forward to regrouping with our industry friends throughout 2024 to see how we can collaboratively move forward to boost innovation for the benefit of the whole industry.”
