In this episode, Elton chats to Joe Salisbury of New View Window Systems, who are a contractor primarily working on new-build housing projects in the North West and Yorkshire.
Joe’s role is varied – as well as managing the IT side of the business, he gets involved in estimating, so he has a good overview of how Business Pilot has helped the different areas of the business.
Like many of our users, life before Business Pilot featured lots of spreadsheets and information stored in lots of different places – bringing that all together into one area with Business Pilot has been one of the key benefits of introducing our CRM software. Joe said:
“So information, especially when people were off, was just all over the place. And one of the things we realised, straight away, with Business Pilot, it’s all in one place…That job is there forever from beginning to end, which is perfect from an installation point of view and customer care.”
Having all information in one central location has been particularly beneficial for the customer care team at New View Window Systems, with Joe commenting that the difference is ‘like night and day’.
As well as helping the office become more efficient, Business Pilot is also really beneficial for the directors of the company because they can easily access live information so they can respond to calls and enquiries quickly.
“…If a director wants to see what’s going on with the shop… they can immediately go into it and be caught up straight away rather than having to go around the business, all the different departments and try and find out what’s going through other people.”
