Having consulted with an installation company in 2015, Elton walked through the ‘door’ and could see a ‘window’ of opportunity to improve processes across the sector, that’s when alongside the fellow founders, he built Business Pilot.
Provide strategic direction and leadership. He networks across the industry to understand what is most needed for the future of Business Pilot and supports a growing and talented team to develop the ‘best in class’ business management system.
Ryan joined the industry in 2005 as Installations Manager for their family business, eventually helping diversify the company into higher value projects. By 2016, the need for better operational control led to the birth of Business Pilot. Today, he still sees first hand how vital a connected team is for managing every stage from sale to installation.
Works closely with the sales team to drive our growth while keeping a sharp focus on the financial performance of the business. His goal is to ensure that as Business Pilot expands, we remain commercially strong and sustainable for the long term.
Ryan began his career in sales, working with standard uPVC systems before specializing in architectural glazing and specialist products. This background led him into operations management, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle from the first conversation through to final installation.
Using our unique industry experience he oversees the product development and support as well as contributing to the overall direction of the team & business.
Matt started in the glazing industry with Everest back in 2006, working his way from the Marketing Department to Territory Development Manager. This 14 year journey gave him first hand experience across multiple roles at one of the most recognisable installation companies in the UK.
Manages new inquiries and provides software demonstrations to show prospective customers how Business Pilot can transform their operations. He also helps guide them through the sales process, ensuring a smooth transition to our customer care and training team for onboarding.
Started in window and door hardware in 2017, Danni came back into the industry in 2024 after experiencing many years within customer service and project management roles.
Her role is built on collaboration. She focuses on understanding our partners’ needs and aligning the right solutions to turn new opportunities into lasting growth for everyone involved.
Before joining the team, Rebecca worked directly within an installation company. This front line experience is vital to our “built for installers, by installers” approach, as she understands the specific challenges businesses face.
She ensures users get the most out of the system. She works intimately with businesses to understand their specific workflows, ensuring they are comfortable with the software and that their data is working effectively for them.
She joined the industry professionally in August 2022, although she has been closely connected to the glazing world since 2006. This gives her a unique, long term view of the industry that she brings to her role every day.
Manages the day-to-day operations at Business Pilot, overseeing everything from customer onboarding and training, to accounts and first-line support. Her focus is on keeping our internal processes smooth so our customers receive the best possible service and support.
Before joining Business Pilot in March 2023, Katie spent six years with an installer and manufacturer. She focused on the domestic market, serving as the lead point of contact from the initial enquiry right through to project completion.
Katie provides technical support across all areas of the Business Pilot system. Beyond troubleshooting, she manages the full data import process, rigorously tests new features before release. She also turns our customers’ brilliant feedback into system enhancements.
New to the industry since August 2025, and eager to learn.
