We know it’s unlikely that your installers will need to see your enquiry, lead or finance information so we’ve built a dedicated license for them, complete with the free BPsite App – available to download from the App Store and Google Play – for easy access whilst they’re out and about on site.
Though fitters can sometimes be reluctant to change, it doesn’t take much time for Business Pilot to win them over. Never again do they need to ring the office to check a postcode, try and get hold of a surveyor to ask a question or drive around the local area, helplessly searching for the address, or somewhere to park!
There’s a direct Google maps link to the installation address as well as a note on the distance and approximate travel time to the location. And within the Contract and Contact Areas, the Sales Rep and Surveyor can add in helpful information for the fitters to be aware of, in the contract instructions, such as parking instructions and any limitations that could impact their installation time.
The way our system is built, also means that there can be separate installation contact details if required. So, if it’s a job fitting a new front door on a rental property, they will be able to see the tenant’s name and telephone number.
All the information is easily accessed through BPsite, so all the information they need for the day is at their fingertips. Right down to the ancillaries and stock that has been assigned to the job.
It’s easy for fitters to share information back with the office too. They can mark the installation as complete and can be prompted to carry out any additional tasks that are required by. It could be uploading photographs of the finished install, asking the customer to sign-off the work, or just adding a note to record any other details from the job.
The system works offline too. So, if the installation is in an area with bad 4G signal, fitters can still make their updates within Business Pilot and once they are back online the information will update in the cloud.
Key to your fitters getting the right information at the right time is the Business Pilot Interactive Schedule Board. We have so many installation companies telling us that this is the feature that has massively changed how they work.
They’ve got rid of T-cards, spreadsheets and separate diaries and instead use the Schedule Board to plan and confirm install dates, make sure all the products have been delivered for each job and give installers their schedule.
All your fitters need to do is open BPsite in a morning to find their jobs for the day and find all of the information they need.
If your fitters do still prefer paperwork, you can easily run a Fitting Schedule report which can be exported as a .csv file or as a PDF – it’s the best of both worlds!
