Oh, our Interactive Schedule Board…loved by fitters, installations managers, business owners and office teams all over the UK. The live schedule board allows you to drag and move jobs around and see the impact. Fully linked to Contracts, Purchase Orders and the Diary, our Schedule Board will walk all over your T-Card Board…no offence!
Scheduling and confirming installation dates has never been easier. The Business Pilot Interactive Schedule feature was a complete game-changer when it was launched, and it is still one of the most popular features with users.
Job cards are pulled through to the Schedule Board when they are ready to have an installation booked and these cards sit in the holding bay at the top of the screen. There’s always a notification at the top if there are installations to be booked.
During the Contract process, there’s the option to set the number of fitting days required and this can be booked on the schedule board in full or in part, to work around the availability of your fitters.
Hovering over each card shows the details of the Contract and double clicking the job brings up an overview of the Contract details and Purchase Order information as well as a quick link to the Contract area in case you need more information.
There is also the option to build customised boards to suit your scheduling methods. Many Business Pilot users have customised boards for installation, project or product types – so you could have one scheduling board for aluminium jobs and another for glazed extension projects. They can also be built for groups of fitting team types.
The Schedule Board has been designed with clear visual clues to help you review it at a glance. Colour-coding is used to reference job type and product type, to make it easier to assign jobs to the fitters with the right skills.
Provisional Jobs are partially opaque with a rounded top corner and Confirmed Jobs are a completely solid colour and square, so it’s easy to see what can be moved around and what can’t.
As an extra safety measure, you can Lock confirmed jobs on the board, so they can’t be dragged or moved around by mistake.
As well as colours and different opacities, there is a small ‘Progress bar’ at the top of each card, which directly relates to the Purchase Orders associated with that Contract. If there are no bars visible on the card, it means that there are no raised purchase orders on that Contract.
One dot means that there has been a purchased order raised, but delivery dates are still estimated. Two dots mean that delivery dates have been confirmed by the supplier and a sold bar means that all items on the Purchase Orders associated with the Contract have been marked as Delivered. So, when you’re moving round your bookings, you know immediately if the products will be ready in time – so smart!
